Hello happy Friday, hope you guys are having a fabulous day!
Today I wanted to jump ahead and start blogging about school. And for the first time in my life I’m actually excited to go back, and it’s because it’s my last semester of college.
As you have read in the title of the post, its OOTD’s for the first week of school. These are all my ideas and it’s something I will wear for school. You can always change it up a bit depending on weather and dress code. Best part is all items are affordable or simple pieces you might already have in your closet. I hope you enjoy this quick post I did since I wanted to upload something for you guys. Plus thank you once more for the support! I haven’t been able to check out people’s blog and comment since I was using my phone internet over my trip and at times it sucked but I got back home and I can show some love and follow people back.
So after all this talking and catching up, let’s get to the outfits!
Monday’s are not always the best since it’s the first day of the week, but you make your day how you want it to be. Always start with a smile, giving thanks, and staying positive. I’m sitting in my bedroom typing this, giving you advice…hopefully I remember this in a few weeks when I get back to school, sighs*
I thought of a colorful outfit would be fun for the first day, since we’re still in summer. If the first day of school/work appearance is important to you, it’s okay to show your personality and what you like. But don’t overdo it, you can keep it casual and simple. I love kimonos and I’ve been really into bohemian sort of vibe to my clothes or hairstyle so you might see some pieces short of that way.

Depending on your schedule, Tuesday might be another first day of class so for me I picked another “first day of school” type of outfit for Tuesday since I have same schedule on Mondays and Wednesdays, and same for Tuesdays and Thursdays if that makes any sense.
I loved the oversized shirt, they are so comfortable and I paired it with leggings for more comfort. Plus who doesn’t love wearing leggings on a regular basis and still look put together?
For jewelry simple and neutral colors so the mint green of the shirt stands out.
I love wearing bright colors for summer. I’ve been into romper recently and they are so cute. This one is from Ross, seriously you can find great pieces at Ross at times!
It’s a simple outfit, yet great for a day at school and can work if you have to do something afterwards.
When I wear a shirt or shorts that have print or some piece that is the view point of my outfit I like to wear neutrals or silver/gold accessories and have one focal point in my outfits.

I like to wear casually flowy shirts, as you can tell, so this is one of them. And since where I live it’s still pretty hot I have lived in shorts this whole summer break. So pairing a flowy shirt with shorts is a great idea!
I love big bags, sometimes for everyday use and sometimes it works for school too. You don’t have to waste a lot of money on bags/backpacks, but it’s also an idea to change it up a bit if you can.

Last day of the week! When I was in high school I used Fridays as a day when I wore jean (12th grade I wore uniform) or did my hair with hot tools or did my makeup a little more. Now I use it as a day where I go more casual and maybe do my hair in a bun, and less makeup. Sounds like a Monday but I sort of switch it up between Mondays and Fridays.
We all have t-shirts, or causal gracfic shirts that can be perfect for these days. I paired the outfit with flats just to give it a touch of girly feel instead of sneakers but you can totally wear them. I loveeeeeee baseball t-shirts ever since I saw Zac Efron in High School Musical with several ones, so I had to get one myself. And we all have ripped jeans in our closets, or favorite jeans.

Hope you enjoy, and had an idea for when you go back to school.
